The Future:Hungary Conference is an annual event organised to create a bridge between students and young-professionals abroad and thought leaders, innovators, academics, employers and stakeholders based in Hungary.

We connect those who aspire, question and innovate, those who love, share and passionately work for others, those who are thrilled by expanding their knowledge, digging deep and delivering change. 

The human capital of the international diaspora and our guests combined results in an extraordinary day of workshops, debates and panel discussions each year.

President’s Welcome

Future: Hungary started with a handful of Hungarian students studying at the University of Cambridge with ambitious goals: bringing new perspectives home, making meaningful connections, and exploring opportunities with leading Hungarian firms. Within a few years, our annual Conference has become one of the most prominent events in the life of the Hungarian diaspora.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Brexit and economic uncertainty, Hungarian communities still persist at the world’s best universities, and our organization has continued to make great strides in fulfilling its mission. Over the years, we established valuable partnerships with a number of companies in Hungary, providing numerous job opportunities for our members. However, our work is far from done.

In 2023, our dedicated team continues to build bridges for the Hungarian diaspora and deliver a memorable event for all attendees. We are committed to creating more opportunities for our members to engage with one another; this will not only support their professional growth but also strengthen the ties that bind our community.

The Organising Committee of the conference is a group of dedicated students, all within the top academic institutions of the world. We are a diverse team that believes in creating opportunity where it is the closest to our hearts, at home. The conference’s aims and the level of dedication are not only a standard we strive for but a strong passion and belief on our parts. We believe that the feedback and experience of our past 5 sessions not only confirmed that we are on the right track but made us hopeful that our endeavour will come to fruition with an even better conference this year.
